Our London-based designer and master wood craftsman, Mark, began his woodworking career in 2014. Over the past 4 years he has honed his skills to an art form in his Bermondsey studio. He spends his days making furniture and after hours creates wood masterpieces which we are lucky enough to get our hands on.
Mark hand-picks the wood pieces he uses to ensure quality, sourcing rescued wood from storm damaged trees, reclaimed hardwoods or off-cuts from handmade furniture. The wood is then kiln dried and, when ready, meticulously cut, carved and sanded into stunning one-of-a-kind serving boards. The boards are subsequently treated with food grade material and Danish oil.
