Deep in the forest of Estonia, lies Leeda’s private studio where she weaves handmade floor rugs on traditional wood looms. After studying textile art at Tartu Art College in Estonia, she opened a weaving workshop.
All items in her studio are made exclusively by her; she chooses the materials, colors and patterns before weaving her gorgeous designs. She uses mostly natural material in her work – cotton, linen and wool. She uses upcycled textile manufacturing remnants or recycled old garments as weft material. She finds inspiration in different colors and weaving patterns.
Her rugs exude quality as each piece is hand woven on the loom and produced in small quantities. Her pieces are decorative and practical; not only will your feet love stepping on them, but they look gorgeous in any room and are easy to maintain since they are machine washable.
